Talisman Energy Inc. has retained RBC Rundle to sell certain gas properties in west-central Alberta.

The package includes high working interest (63% average) in mostly operated assets covering 120,320 non-unit acres in the Whitecourt area, approximately 100 kilometers northwest of Edmonton. Production is from mostly liquids rich gas. Of the total acreage, 63% (76,259 acres) is company acres, 25% (30,301) is partner acres and 12% (13,760) is under royalty. The properties feature extensive low-risk Gething formation development potential.

Production is more than 4,900 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Proved ...
