Gallic Energy Ltd., Calgary, (TSX: GLE) has named John Garden director and chief executive officer. Garden succeeds Felicia Bortolussim who resigned as director, and replaces Peter Haverson, who was interim chief executive. Haverson will remain a director.

Garden is an engineer with more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry. He is president and chief executive of Garden-Williamson Associates Engineering and Deadeye Engineering Inc., both drilling, completions and production operations firms. He is also chief executive and director of Maskal Energy Inc.
